ASSIGNMENT – Here’s an amazing and historic article about smallpox and mandatory vaccination in NYC at the early 1900s. Based on what you learned in the Smallpox module (part 1/2) AND coupled with current “measles” hysteria, take out your notebook and analyze this article on HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF. This will be a good exercise in understanding the past vs the present, AND give you a chance to use your new language skills to communicate this history to others.
